Welcome to RealHumans!
Getting verified as a RealHuman and using your verification to prove you are real involves three simple steps:
- Create a profile
- Get verified
- Exchange Proof of Personhood (PoP) links with other verified RealHumans before interacting
Creating a Profile
Creating a profile only takes minutes. Click here to create a profile.
- Name
- Associated location(s)
- Birthday (never shown publicly)
- Social profiles (optional - but adds credibility)
- Photo (head and shoulders)
- Mobile (optional)
Once you have confirmed your email you can get verified.
Getting Verified
There are two ways to get verified:
Option 1: By a verified RealHuman who knows and trusts you
Option 2: By a Guardian
Both options require you to do a video verification on the RealHumans website.
Option 1: Go to the Hall of Humans, find a verified RealHuman who knows and trusts you, and request verification.

Option 2:
Guardians are highly trusted members of the RealHumans community.
To get verified by a Guardian you must show your government issued ID during video verification. (The video is not recorded).

Using your Proof-of-Personhood (PoP) links
PoP links are encrypted links only you can create. Send them to people to whom you want to prove your personhood. Require them to send you their PoP link to prove theirs.
Creating your link is simple. Go to your dashboard and press the button next to “My Proof of Personhood link”.

Next, copy your encrypted PoP link and send it by in-app messaging, text or email.

When your recipient clicks on your PoP link, they will see your verified identity along with a cryptographic confirmation that you are a verified RealHuman.

Require PoP links from anyone you deal with online to avoid scammers, bots and fake profiles.
Let unverified people know that they will need to get verified before they can send you their PoP link.
Guardians
Guardians are highly trusted members of the RealHumans community responsible for protecting its integrity. Their primary role is to identify and investigate suspicious activity to help keep bad actors out.
When potential violations are observed or reported, Guardians review the situation and take appropriate action. This may include temporarily locking a user's account and, if necessary, requesting a live video interview to verify compliance with the RealHumans Pledge.
If a user refuses to participate in the interview, or if a Guardian determines that the pledge has been violated, the account may be permanently locked, resulting in loss of verified RealHuman status.
